Elevating your standard garden lawn into a rich wild flower meadow through careful maintenance

·       Zero initial cost: We work with the lawn you already have, so there is no ‘installation’ phase. Development is done through a program of maintenance

·       Slow and steady: Lawns work by having 2 or 3 thick grasses dominate an area. Through well-timed mowing and scarifying we work to weaken their stranglehold and open up spaces for new species.

·       Supplemented over time: Once these spaces have opened up we slowly begin to build diversity in the scheme through Autumn seeding and adding new plants in the Spring.

·       Amazing for wildlife: This takes ‘no mow May’ to another level – with an increased mixture of fine grasses and flowers bugs have a variety of nectar sources to choose from and pockets to shelter in.

·       Low carbon installation: Forget heavy new materials and skipping the old lawn. This scheme works through the additions of lightweight seed and plant plugs, keeping the installation footprint to a minimum.
